Nevzat — the taxi driver

35 · Münster, Germany · Taxi Driver

Not religious until his father passed away. The first word that came to him was iqra - read. But he'd never read a word of Arabic. He'd tried apps, books, websites; nothing stuck, and he worried about wasting money on yet another method. He learned in the back of his taxi, between fares. First Arabic words within a few weeks. Reading the Qur'an in Arabic in four to five months.

I can still remember reading the word ‘Qur'an’ in Arabic for the first time. It almost brought tears to my eyes.

Julia — the convert, the mother

31 · Brandenburg, Germany · Kindergarten Teacher

Raised in an atheist family; found Islam slowly, over years, through her Pakistani husband. She could listen and read translation, but couldn't sit with the mushaf and read the Arabic herself. Her wall wasn't time - it was motivation, the same one that carries people from one Ramadan to the next. Today she reads with her husband. The family in Pakistan is thrilled.

My Iman was solidified, and I feel much closer to God. For a Muslim, being able to read the Qur'an in Arabic is a big deal.

Richard — the family man

32 · Romanian heritage · Train Driver

Came to Islam through community - lectures and halaqaat - and realised translation alone wasn't enough. No Arabic background, and a schedule fractured by shift work. He found the method through Marcel Krass.

I saw - this fits my life best. No matter the time, I can learn. And the lifelong access isn't just for me. It's for my wife and my children.

What 5-Star Reviewers Say

Best learning method. With only a few minutes a day, you learn to read the wonderful Qur'an fluidly. The teachers take their time and explain the connections.
Halima
Clear, understandable, and very well structured. Flexible, modern, and really fun - I've made great progress and gained a lot of confidence.
Mariam
It's also for newcomers - you can learn everything well and you get tips and help.
Kessi Gerber
With this method I learned the letters quickly, and the words after. It uses words that appear often in the Qur'an, so reading gets easier. The teachers calmly improve your pronunciation.
Slim Massi
Almost finished with the lessons and can only report positively. Everything is easy to understand and the exercises help enormously.
Anes
Very impressed by the whole system. You don't just learn to read - you start to understand the Arabic language.

The Patterns We See

“Within 2 months I could read.”
“The teachers take their time.”
“15 minutes a day fits my life.”
“I can learn anywhere - home, on the road.”
“Worth every cent.”
“I came back after a break and continued.”

“But I'm too old to start now”

Age has never been the variable here. We have students in their twenties - newly practising Muslims building a foundation they never got as kids. Students in their thirties and forties - parents, professionals, converts. Students in their fifties and sixties - grandparents and retirees who want to spend their final decades with the Qur'an. And students over seventy who have graduated this program from zero. The only variable is whether the method finally fits your life. Not your age.
